Trigeminal neuralgia is characterized by intense pain in eyes, lips, scalp, forehead and jaw on one side of the face. Pain is episodic shock like sometime triggered by routine daily activities. Once diagnosed can be treated effectively with medication, Radio frequency ablation and surgery.
